Michael Schiehlen of Carl Zeiss talks about the Compact Prime CP.2 and Lightweight Zoom LWZ.2 lenses. Both lenses combine interchangeable mounts with outstanding optical performance. Three different mounts are available: PL, EF and F mount. The interchangeable mounts allow the lenses to be used with a wide range of cameras from traditional cine to HDSLR systems. In addition, Carl Zeiss will soon also be offering the Compact Prime CP.2 lenses with Micro 4/3 and A-mount. He also shows two new focal lengths for the Compact Prime CP.2 series: the 50 mm with macro and 100 mm with close focus function.
